Fool’s Gold Radio – October 2012

If you follow TNJ you know the unbelievable respect and admiration that I have for A-Trak is only second to my sheer awe of his mixing skills. He’s one of the only people I can sit and listen to for an hour, have no idea what any of the songs are, can’t tell where one of them begins or ends, and I’m still 1000% engaged. I love it. The Fool’s Gold head honcho takes to the decks again for his record label’s October mix, playing out Tuna Melt, his HUGE collaboration with the Aussie rock star Tommy Trash! Track listing after the jump!

T.I. – Ball ft. Lil Wayne

Tip’s still looking for the magic single to send the anticipation for Trouble Man through the roof. Now, hip hop’s coolest dad links up with long-time collaborator, Lil Wayne, for the New Orleans bounce music-inspired, “Ball”. Drawing inspiration from The Showboy’s “Drag Rap (Triggerman)” – a record Wayne is already familiar with– Clifford’s version has a several different updates instrumentation-wise with all credit/blame falling in the laps of Rico Love and Earl & E. Trouble Man hits shelves exactly a week before Christmas (December 18th).

Taylor Swift – I Knew You Were Trouble (PRFFTT & Svyable Bootleg)

Yes! PRFFTT & Svyable have created a bootleg of official quality proportions! “I Knew You Were Trouble” is an obvious hit from Taylor Swift but these guys take the fair dubstep incorporations and crank them way the hell up! This is simply a fun banger, got this baby on repeat.

A big thanks to PRFFTT & Syvable for the download and their hard work on this wonderful eargasm!
