Usher – Numb (Official Video)

Usher and team dropped the video for his new single “Numb”. “Pop” Usher has grown on me immensely over time and, honestly, the record is good pop fodder – the music video might just hit. What do y’all think?

Zedd – Stache ft. Lady GaGa

While I would never have dreamed about expecting a collaboration like this on Clarity, the fact that it just got its release doesn’t surprise me at all. I’ve heard grumblings that there are too many vocals on Zedd’s major label debut album but adding Lady GaGa to the already amazing single Stache is a good move in my opinion. Yet another one on the scoreboard for the mainstream./dance music cross over!

Matthew Koma – Neon Red

Let’s give whoever is managing the skyrocketing career of Matthew Koma some HUGE credit. Having the foresight to recognize that the way to overnight recognition has recently been through electronic music, they got him the vocal feature on Zedd’s summer anthem Spectrum and then another spot on Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero’s collaboration Sparks. It seems like Interscope Records is gonna give him a shot at launching his own solo career away from dance music (although I surely hope he’ll still continue doing vocal features) and this track Neon Red is available for free from their SoundCloud! Maybe this isn’t news to you, but I had absolutely no idea that he’s Carly Rae Jepsen’s boyfriend. Man this guy’s livin good.

Ellie Goulding – I Need Your Love ft. Calvin Harris

Somewhere on the interweb, there is a full leak of Ellie Goulding’s album Halcyon and although I would never think to just give out the full thing, I don’t think anyone minds a little free publicity. She gets top notch dance music production from Calvin Harris, only further proving that there are few people more on top of their game than he is right now. This album is HUGELY anticipated by all those hoping she could recreate the magic of her debut album Lights and if this is any indication of what’s to come, I don’t think there’s much to worry about.

Chris Brown – Don’t Judge Me (Official Video)

Chris Brown and Rihanna just can’t seem to keep their “relationship” out of the spotlight and we reckon that his latest track “Don’t Judge Me”will only help with the rumors. The singer has released the official music video to his latest single earlier today (September 27) which sees him departing for a one way mission to space. And you ask “what does this have to do with Rihanna?” Well, if you take a moment to listen to the lyrics, we think that Brown’s former love may be the inspiration.

He sings: ‘”You’re hearing rumours about me. And you can’t stomach the thought. Of someone touching my body.'”

“When you’re so close to my heart. I won’t deny what they saying. Because most of it is true. But it was all before I fell for you..”

As the fifth single release from his recent album Fortune, it follows prevous hits “Turn Up The Music”, “Sweet Love”, “Till I Die”, and “Don’t Wake Me Up”.

Rihanna – Diamonds (Prod. by Stargate & Benny Blanco)

Mark my words: By the time she’s 40, Rihanna will have released 5,400 singles. In just a few weeks, she’s dropping her 7th album since 2005, which means we’ll be getting another batch of songs to make sure she’s perpetually in our ears.

“Diamonds”, the first track from the new album, just appeared yesterday (sorry for the delay), and it sounds like yet another smash. Now, I’m not saying this song will forever change our understanding of Rihanna, but it adds another facet to her career. It mixes things up just enough to demand attention, but not so much that we get confused. And let’s be honest: That’s what Rihanna’s brand of pop music is for. It’s supposed to be intriguing and accessible, a little bit smart and a little bit mindless all at once.

Ludacris – Representin ft. Kelly Rowland

Ludacris’ new album Ludaversal is on the way, and on the heels of the album’s lead single “Jingalin” he hooks up withKelly Rowland for “Representin”. This song is a tune of women’s empowerment in which Kelly Rowland sings the hook and inspires her fellow females. This joint was premiered by V-103 in Atlanta, but we finally got a hold of the download for y’all to enjoy. Cheers!

Wiz Khalifa – Remember You ft. The Weeknd

The major label-ization of The Weeknd continues today as the R&B impresario guests on Wiz Khalifa’s latest single, “Remember You”. Backed by a beat of wish-washy drum clatter and hazy guitar effects he surprisingly didn’t produce, Weeknd’s part sees him deliver his cockiest croon about his unquestionable bedroom prowess (“She’s about to earn some bragging rights/I’m ’bout to give it up like I’ve been holding back all night”).

“Remember You” is the second single off Khalifa’s sophomore LP, O.N.I.F.C., due out December 4th via Atlantic/Rostrum. Peep it below.
