Usher – Numb (Official Video)

Usher and team dropped the video for his new single “Numb”. “Pop” Usher has grown on me immensely over time and, honestly, the record is good pop fodder – the music video might just hit. What do y’all think?

Matthew Koma – Neon Red

Let’s give whoever is managing the skyrocketing career of Matthew Koma some HUGE credit. Having the foresight to recognize that the way to overnight recognition has recently been through electronic music, they got him the vocal feature on Zedd’s summer anthem Spectrum and then another spot on Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero’s collaboration Sparks. It seems like Interscope Records is gonna give him a shot at launching his own solo career away from dance music (although I surely hope he’ll still continue doing vocal features) and this track Neon Red is available for free from their SoundCloud! Maybe this isn’t news to you, but I had absolutely no idea that he’s Carly Rae Jepsen’s boyfriend. Man this guy’s livin good.

Chris Brown – Don’t Judge Me (Official Video)

Chris Brown and Rihanna just can’t seem to keep their “relationship” out of the spotlight and we reckon that his latest track “Don’t Judge Me”will only help with the rumors. The singer has released the official music video to his latest single earlier today (September 27) which sees him departing for a one way mission to space. And you ask “what does this have to do with Rihanna?” Well, if you take a moment to listen to the lyrics, we think that Brown’s former love may be the inspiration.

He sings: ‘”You’re hearing rumours about me. And you can’t stomach the thought. Of someone touching my body.'”

“When you’re so close to my heart. I won’t deny what they saying. Because most of it is true. But it was all before I fell for you..”

As the fifth single release from his recent album Fortune, it follows prevous hits “Turn Up The Music”, “Sweet Love”, “Till I Die”, and “Don’t Wake Me Up”.

Rihanna – Diamonds (Prod. by Stargate & Benny Blanco)

Mark my words: By the time she’s 40, Rihanna will have released 5,400 singles. In just a few weeks, she’s dropping her 7th album since 2005, which means we’ll be getting another batch of songs to make sure she’s perpetually in our ears.

“Diamonds”, the first track from the new album, just appeared yesterday (sorry for the delay), and it sounds like yet another smash. Now, I’m not saying this song will forever change our understanding of Rihanna, but it adds another facet to her career. It mixes things up just enough to demand attention, but not so much that we get confused. And let’s be honest: That’s what Rihanna’s brand of pop music is for. It’s supposed to be intriguing and accessible, a little bit smart and a little bit mindless all at once.

The song is produced by Norwegian hit makers, Stargate, and is a great R&B pop track – one that is sure to take over the charts.

Pink – Here Comes The Weekend ft. Eminem

Such a refreshing find. The combination of Pink and a revitalized Eminem sounding like The Real Slim Shady again is giving me some great tracks for the best part of the week. It’s already Wednesday folks, we’re almost there.

Enrique Iglesias – Finally Found You ft. Sammy Adams

It ain’t broke, and so Enrique Iglesias isn’t trying to fix it. The Latin crooner’s new song “Finally Found You” premiered today, and it finds him sticking to the tried-and-true dance-pop formula that has kept him in the upper reaches of the charts since he first crossed over to pop stardom 13 years ago. Lyrically, this team-up with rapper Sammy Adams has Enrique asking his object of affection to ignore the advice of her friends and to stick with him till the end. Sparkling synths heighten his pleas on the upbeat tune – and who doesn’t love a guy who whispers sweet nothings and can give you a good beat to dance to at the same time? The CDQ version/download will be up soon.

Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen (Instagram Video)

As an admitted lover of this budding direct relationship between fan and artist, Ellie Goulding has dipped into the creative well of her fanbase in search of Instagram pictures that contain lyrics for her song Anything Could Happen. The more than 1200 pictures were slimmed down to 4 minutes of visuals for the track off her upcoming album Halcyon which is getting released October 8th in the UK & October 9th in the US which can be preordered here! This is turning out to be a huge release even though the rumored track with boyfriend Skrillex seems to not be getting a spot on the album.
