Radical Something – Cutty Spot (#SUMMERofRAD)

With each passing Monday bringing us closer to the end of the Radical Something #SUMMERofRAD, this 11th week is especially rough. Cutty Spot is exactly what we’ve come to expect from this So-Cal trio with nothing but good bars and great vibes. The only thing keeping me feelin good is knowing that they got a brand new music video for Naked In Venice for the conclusion of the promo. I’m actually without internet in my new house until Thursday so excuse me when these posts start flying out in bunches when I can get to some.

W.S.C – Hangover ft. Frank Buick

Got a brand new track from some local talent from Long Island. You all know Frank Buick from the All Aboard EP we gave you a little while back and now we can introduce you to W.S.C (We Stay Chillin). The mission statement is in the name and the proof is in the pudding when it comes to this duo that brings summer time vibes full force. Along the lines of a Cisco & Shwayze/Radical Something kinda ensemble, this track’s got some awesome bars and a hook that’s sure to be stuck in your head.

Cris Cab – If You Only Had Today

This couldn’t have been a better track to have found after a long day of work. The master of good vibes returns the love from his fan base, releasing a brand new track and saying,

“As a thank you to fans who have been there for me since the beginning, here’s a brand new record to hold you over until my next project. You guys are the reason I do what I do.”

Artists’ ability to communicate directly with their fans is a phenomenon that started only recently and with avenues such as Twitter, SoundCloud and blogs and now feedback can come almost instantaneously. We salute Cris Cab back with a thank you and continued support of the guy who brings a rare sense of joy to the music that he produces.

Radical Something – Spread Your Wings (Summer of Rad)

Welcome to the weekly injection of summer vibes courtesy of Radical Something and their Summer of Rad! Week 7 may have delivered my favorite track to date with some really great guitar work that compliments the hook perfectly. These guys are the perfect backbone of any summer playlist fit for relaxing at a BBQ or chillin poolside. Between this song and the Viceroy remix of Gettin Jiggy Wit It that we put up earlier today it looks like the Mondays were lookin a little bit more mellow than usual. You can find more free releases from the So-Cal trio here so grab all that you missed and keep it locked here next Monday for the eighth installment of the Summer of Rad!

Will Smith – Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It (Viceroy “Jet Life” Remix)

There are few people out there right now who know their sound better than Viceroy. This track just screams good times with good friends and good music and makes sure that everyone’s dancing! Viceroy is flyin high right now on the wings of his Jet Life series of releases and he’s kind enough to give this one away for free via his SoundCloud so grab it and enjoy!
