Major Lazer ft. The Partysquad – Original Don (Luminox Remix)

Today we were lucky enough to get a fresh take on Major Lazer’s huge remix target Original Don from Luminox, one of my favorite producers to jump into this new incarnation of trap music. Although you can guarantee nothing’s gonna top Flosstradamus’ remix, this has all the trap-heavy goodness you know he brings. Just for fun I included all the other Original Don must-have remixes from TNJ staples Sazon Booya, and DJ Sliink!

Proyecto Uno – El Tiburon (Sazon Booya Edit)

I’ll never forget seeing Sazon Booya open up for Knife Party in NYC over the summer and I couldn’t be happier to see the kind of success these dudes are getting. This is a milestone release celebrating reaching 10,000 Facebook fans so they decided to give away one of the edits that they’ve been using in their live sets. MOOMBAAHHHHH!!

The Bolivian Marching Affair – Escape Reality (Synchronice Remix)

I’m not sure if it’s at all possible for those Saulsky brothers to disappoint me but it comes with no surprise that the boys of Synchronice absolutely killed this remix of The Bolivian Marching Affair. They take the sensual vocals down to a sexy 110 bpm from the original 140 dubstep version and deliver a crushing moombahcore drop, once again proving their production versatility and excellence. This one’s on the house courtesy of Play Me Records so grab the download and enjoy!

MUST DIE! & Sazon Booya – Dropper

I’m completely unfamiliar with MUST DIE! but after getting a taste of his production in this collaboration with the moombah kings Sazon Booya, I can safely say he has my attention. You can check his Facebook here if you wanna get familiar with what he’s been up to and grab the free download!

Bro Safari & ETC!ETC! – Suspects

We’ve been anticipating this collaboration from Bro Safari & ETC!ETC! while the two have been teasing it via their Facebooks and Twitters. The biggest thing that comes out of this release for me is that it’s actually moombahton! The grumblings that moombah is dead and all the bandwagon producers have moved onto trap is wayy too overstated and it looks like these guys wanted to make sure everyone knew that. I definitely hear much more Bro Safari in this one but no matter what, it’s nice to get it goin at 110 BPM again.

Whole-Z – The Ketchup Post

Ladies and gents, meet Andrew Holzberger aka Whole-Z, a brand new discovery of mine as of 23 minutes ago and already one of my favorite young remixers I’ve stumbled upon lately. A college student from Vermont, he’s remixed everyone from Martin Solveig to DJ Kool to Edward Sharpe; all of them wildly different and unbelievably well crafted. I’ll be making sure That New Jam is keeping a close watch on this kid’s progress because he’s certainly got my attention. 3 tracks to catch you up with so be sure to grab the downloads and enjoy!

Sazon Booya – LessThan3 Heartbeat Mix

When you got 45 minutes of silence to fill, I’d like to make a strong suggestion to check out Sazon Booya’s new ass-shaking moombah mix they released for LessThan3. With such a huge collection of tracks, they have their single Oye Mami on there, tracks from the Impacto EP and tons of other remixes they’ve done. MOOOMBAHH!

Sum 41 – Fat Lip (Acetronik Remix)

It’s songs like these that can turn the casual listener (and anti EDM lover) into a full blown fan. Acetronik does a phenomenal job flipping one of my childhood favorites into something that may be one of my NEW favorites. Check it out and, as always, enjoy!

Sazon Booya – Impacto EP

Best surprise of the day so far hands down. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Sazon Booya when they opened for Knife Party at the Beekman Beach Club and even got the chance to meet their awesome hype-man Mystereo. Their unique brand of moombahton just drips with that gritty sexual vibes that’s sure to get the place dancing. These guys got it all figured out and even with their track Oye Mami making rounds on the NY Lotto commercial, they decided to give out a 5 track EP for free with help from some TNJ familiars like ETC!ETC! and Lobounce. MOOOMBAAHH!!
