Major Lazer ft. The Partysquad – Original Don (Luminox Remix)

Today we were lucky enough to get a fresh take on Major Lazer’s huge remix target Original Don from Luminox, one of my favorite producers to jump into this new incarnation of trap music. Although you can guarantee nothing’s gonna top Flosstradamus’ remix, this has all the trap-heavy goodness you know he brings. Just for fun I included all the other Original Don must-have remixes from TNJ staples Sazon Booya, and DJ Sliink!

Seven Lions – She Was ft. Birds of Paradise

I’m not sayin I called it. But when I brought you the intro post to Seven Lions, we knew there was a winning formula in there. Turns out the boys over at Skrillex’s label OWSLA agreed and are putting out his Days to Come EP this Tuesday 10/16! Besides making beautiful trance-like dubstep, this free giveaway from the EP shows off his ability to produce soothing glitch-hop and only makes me more excited to see the full product! Lil Jon – Snap Your Fingers (Candyland’s OG Remix)

I’m really not sure how I let Candyland’s latest remix to slip for so long because anything involving Lil Jon is buzz-worthy.

Taylor Swift – I Knew You Were Trouble (PRFFTT & Svyable Bootleg)

Yes! PRFFTT & Svyable have created a bootleg of official quality proportions! “I Knew You Were Trouble” is an obvious hit from Taylor Swift but these guys take the fair dubstep incorporations and crank them way the hell up! This is simply a fun banger, got this baby on repeat.

A big thanks to PRFFTT & Syvable for the download and their hard work on this wonderful eargasm!

Bassnectar – Freestyle ft. Angel Haze

Bassnectar let’s loose the full version of one of the hottest tracks he debuted in his recent “Freestyle Mixtape”. It’s the first sampling of the chaotic clashing of genres that is his upcoming Freestyle EP coming out October 16th. The track is also called “Freestyle” and features some guest vocals from Angel Haze. Enjoy!

Proyecto Uno – El Tiburon (Sazon Booya Edit)

I’ll never forget seeing Sazon Booya open up for Knife Party in NYC over the summer and I couldn’t be happier to see the kind of success these dudes are getting. This is a milestone release celebrating reaching 10,000 Facebook fans so they decided to give away one of the edits that they’ve been using in their live sets. MOOMBAAHHHHH!!

Synchronice – Just Because EP

And just when I thought that I’d seen it all, here comes Synchronice to blow our mind with a free 6 track EP release that has some unsuspecting targets…just becuase. Listen below to the Saulsky brothers take on Taylor Swift in what can only be described as the perfect way to dub out all that teenage angst that seems to always follow my future wife. I’ve been busy doin real people stuff all day and haven’t been able to listen to all the tracks but I can’t wait to hear what they did with Some Nights by Fun. and they even remixed that track All The Things She Said by t.A.T.u. You know…that music video with the lesbians that now apparently has 32 million views on YouTube…just for the music obviously.

UPDATE: We got a full stream of the EP for you guys to check out!

Ellie Goulding – Stay Awake [Prod. by Madeon]

A hidden track off of Halcyon, the sophomore album and follow up to Lights from Ellie Goulding, this once again displays the magic that her voice is able to accomplish. I saw a tweet about this a couple days ago, referring to a Madeon produced track from the album and after a full listen through, the 18 year old’s masterful touch is astonishing. Sounding somewhere between Paramore and Pendulum, this track is a perfect exclamation point to an already amazing album which you can stream below!

Aylen – 007’s Theme

I’m not sure that this was the first song I would’ve chosen to trap out but if anyone was gonna go there, it was gonna be Aylen. I guarantee that this is gonna end up being a novelty track that I end up throwing into a set or two because it’s simply too awesome to pass on. He’s always been one of our favorites here at TNJ and we couldn’t be more excited to see that he’s opening for Nicky Romero on Thanksgiving Weekend in Philadelphia; we might just have to get there to see it ourselves!
