State of the Jam Post
It has been a hell of a ride starting this blog and with that said, much credit is deserved by all of you who’ve supported this project in any capacity. Many of you have probably noticed we’ve been a bit quiet over the last few days, but it should go without saying there’s more to our day to day lives than looking for music and writing posts. This past weekend was the graduation of our own writer Scott Randell from SUNY Oneonta’s music industry program so as you can imagine, we happened to be a little preoccupied celebrating to do any posts.
With that said, it seems to be a good time to let you in on some of the latest happenings with TNJ because one of our favorite parts of this whole site has been trying to keep things personal from author to reader. We’re in the process of redesigning the site and giving it a nice face lift as well as an official logo and some cool new features that we hope to have up and running within the next week or two. We’ve also locked up our first official interview with an artist which you’ll all find out about in the beginning of June.
The extra time that comes from not having to worry about classes will hopefully allow us to improve the site and continue to bring you guys all the best new tracks that come out daily. We also hope to bring back the commitment to the Throwback posts because just because a song isn’t new to you doesn’t mean it won’t be a new jam for someone else!
We thank you again as always for being such great readers and supporters!
